Preparation

Before coming to Holy Cross, please make sure you have the following freely available software installed on your computer:

• a web browser
• the Atom text editor (download here)
• the Java Development kit (download here)
• a bash shell:
  • OS X and Linux users: this is already installed. (OS X: find Terminal in your Applications/Utilities folder. Linux: open your favorite terminal.)
  • Windows users: install Git (this includes the gitbash shell)
